The Gerlosstein toboggan run, the longest in Zillertal, stretches an impressive seven kilometres. You can easily reach the starting point at 1,650 metres above sea level via the Gerlossteinbahn cable car, or for added adventure, you can hike up on foot. A special highlight? On select evenings, you can go night tobogganing and glide down the floodlit, perfectly groomed slope.
Another popular natural toboggan run is located right next to us in Mayrhofen. From the valley station of the Ahornbahn cable car, it’s about a one-hour walk up to the Gasthof Wiesenhof restaurant. Once you reach the top, it’s time to hop on your toboggan and race down.
Thrills at the Funpark
If you’re an adrenaline junkie, PenkenPark in Mayrhofen is the ultimate playground. Designed for snowboarders and freestyle skiers, this snow park offers the chance to test your skills, try new tricks, and tackle jumps and obstacles. There’s something for everyone!
