I am passionate about wines and a certified sommelier, which is why at our Hotel Neue Post, in my modest opinion one of the best hotels in Mayrhofen, we offer you the possibility to participate in wine tastings held in our rustic wine cellar. You can choose from three different programmes; each programme includes six different wines as well as a hearty traditional snack with products from local farms. You will learn about the three dimensions of wine tasting: see (the colour of the wine), smell, and taste. Before taking part in a wine tasting, you should abstain from smoking, drinking coffee, or eating flavoursome meals; this way you have a clean palette to start with.
