Spring is near! Yet in Mayrhofen, there’s no end in sight for fun on the slopes.

The Hintertux glacier, Austria’s only year-round ski resort, offers the ideal destination for your favourite winter sport – not only in winter, but 365 days a year! Here you’ll find over 60 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes with something for every level and freeride slopes with wonderful powder snow from October until May. By the way, the Betterpark Hintertux is one of the best snow parks in the Alps and, at 3,200 metres above sea level, the highest freestyle spot in Austria.

Yet the glacier has more in store! Look forward to the gondola breakfast, the panoramic terrace at 3,250 metres above sea level, the Spannagel cave – the largest natural stone cave in the Central Alps – and, last but not least, Nature’s Ice Palace. The ice palace is only ten minutes’ walk from the mountain station and, just like the natural stone cave, accessible all year round, regardless of the weather conditions.
